Recommended baseline
Section titled “Recommended baseline”- Modern browser with current media stack support
- Stable broadband connection with low jitter
- Unrestricted access to Hyper call signaling/media paths in your network policy
- Headset or quality microphone for noisy environments
Outbound policy guidance
Section titled “Outbound policy guidance”- Validate Hyper media and signaling allowlists before rollout if your network restricts outbound traffic.
- Avoid SSL inspection, media proxy rewriting, or other network controls that interfere with real-time traffic on the meeting path.
- Test from each office, VPN path, or managed network segment that users will actually rely on.
Meeting quality expectations
Section titled “Meeting quality expectations”- Audio remains highest priority under constrained networks
- Video quality may adapt dynamically based on conditions
- Screenshare quality depends on available upload throughput and competing traffic
Enterprise environments
Section titled “Enterprise environments”If your organization enforces strict outbound policy, validate allowlists and traffic inspection behavior before rollout.
