Background Effects
Use blur and related video effects when the environment is distracting.
Background effects help when the room is visually distracting even though the meeting should stay on camera. They are best used to reduce distraction, not to hide poor lighting, poor network health, or the wrong camera choice.
Best uses

- Customer or interview meetings where a cleaner visual frame helps focus.
Limits to keep in mind

- Heavy visual effects can cost performance on lower-powered devices.
- Video quality and network adaptation still matter more than any effect when the connection is unstable.
