AI
Use this section when you need transcript, translation, summary, or action-item guidance for a meeting. It explains where each AI output appears, what needs to be enabled first, and how permissions affect what people can see.
After you read these pages, you should know which AI features help during the call, which ones are only useful after it ends, and how to route the output into follow-up work.

Questions that come up often
How accurate is the transcription?
Hyper's on-device AI achieves 97% accuracy for clear speech in supported languages. Accuracy may vary with background noise, accents, or technical jargon. You can always review and edit transcripts before sharing.
Is my meeting data private?
Yes. All AI processing — transcription, translation, summarization — happens locally on your device. Your meeting audio and text never leave your machine or get sent to external servers. We're built for teams that take privacy seriously.
Can I disable AI features?
Absolutely. You can turn off transcription, translation, summaries, or action items at any time — per meeting or account-wide. You stay in control of what gets processed and shared.
Who can see the AI outputs?
By default, transcripts and summaries are visible to meeting participants. You control sharing: keep them private, share with attendees only, or distribute to a broader group. Workspace admins can configure default visibility.
What languages are supported?
Transcription supports 30+ languages, and live translation covers 50+ language pairs. New languages are added regularly. Check our translation page for the full list and quality notes per language.

Limitations and rollout notes
Section titled “ Limitations and rollout notes ”- Language coverage, rollout timing, and workspace defaults can differ by deployment.
- Artifact visibility still follows workspace and meeting permissions even when AI output is generated automatically.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The meeting produced some AI outputs but not all of them
Section titled “The meeting produced some AI outputs but not all of them”- Verify which AI features were enabled for that meeting and workspace.
- Check the recap page first, then search, because some outputs land in different follow-up surfaces.
- Review artifact permissions if another participant can see the output but you cannot.
